Futures Forum is a one-day event for the next generation of live music industry leaders to forge relationships and exchange ideas, with all ILMC delegates encouraged to attend. The day takes place on Friday 1 March as part of ILMC, bringing together the people that currently define the business with the emerging execs who are driving its evolution.

The day features debates, keynotes, Q&A sessions, mentoring opportunities with senior figures from the business, and a host of great networking opportunities amongst peers.

Speaker highlights from recent years include Dua Lipa, Team Mumford & Sons (Lucy Dickins, Ben Lovett and Adam Tudhope), and Wasserman Music’s Marty Diamond (Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Janelle Monáe and more) in 2023.

The conference programme will be announced closer to the event. For more information, click here.

Why should you attend?

Because Futures Forum invites an additional delegation of your live music professionals to the Friday of ILMC, it’s an inspiring day of fresh ideas and perspectives. The focus across the programme is new trends in artist development, tech, booking, promotion and industry development, with many of the industry’s future leaders taking part.

Why should you send your junior team members?

Futures Forum is a great way for your young and early-career team members to network and connect with others, while sharing knowledge and finding inspiration. One of the biggest topics in the business right now is recruiting and retaining great talent and because ILMC subsidises the cost of each pass to attend, it’s a great way for your younger team members to benefit from ILMC’s networking, debates and presentations over a shorter period.

Who goes?

Companies who participate in Futures Forum include AEG Europe, Live Nation, CAA, UTA, The O2, Music Venue Trust, X-ray Touring, DreamHaus, AXS, Kilimanjaro Live, WME, Wasserman Music, Music Managers Forum, Ticketmaster, Oak View Group, SEC and many others.

How much does it cost?

The whole Futures Forum day is included in every ILMC delegate pass. For younger team members attending for just the day, passes are subsidised to just £125+VAT for the day including a five-star lunch, refreshments and drinks. Team discounts are available if you’d like to bring multiple junior team members. Please get in touch for more info.
