Jonathan Shank

Terrapin Station Entertainment (US)

As CEO of Terrapin Station Entertainment (a joint venture with Sony Masterworks) Shank has created successful family-driven touring franchises and non-traditional tentpoles in markets often overlooked by large corporations.

A music obsessive, he has worked with people from the Bob Marley Estate to the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and sits at the intersection of artist management (Victoria Justice, Scarypoolparty, Laura Marano), event production, immersive installations, talent development, and community enrichment. Shank is a pioneer in bringing intellectual property to the live stage, with productions such as Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour, Peppa Pig Live!, and The Fresh Beat Band Live generating more than $80m in gross box office sales.

As part of his extensive work with Mickey Hart, Shank also earned a Grammy Award in 2009 for his role in creating the album Global Drum Project. In 2020, he received the T.J. Martell Trailblazer Award for his work producing such charity events as The Homeward Bound Concert and A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt.
